Music Ronnie Spector Pays Tribute To Amy Winehouse

Rock icon, ‘Girl Group’ trailblazer, and original bad girl of rock Ronnie Spector has released a tribute song to the late Amy Winehouse. The Ronettes founder, and Rock & Roll Hall inductee, saw similarities between herself and the late singer saying, " my beehive, my eyeliner, my attitude, she reminded me of my youth."
Ms. Spector has been outspoken about her personal alcohol addiction which she was able to conquer in her twenties, and is openly heartbroken by her friend's short, turbulent life.
Her rendition of Winehouse breakthrough “Back To Black” is available at all digital retailers. The track which was produced by Richard Gottehrer, allowed Spector to pay her respects with one of her most striking vocals in recent memory. Proceeds from the single will be donated to Daytop Village, a NYC-based substance abuse center selected by Spector.
