Jay-Z has company on the entertainers-as-team owners list. Will Smith has acquired a minority stake in the Philadelphia 76ers along with his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

The couple acquired part of the team as it was being sold to a group of investors led by multibillionaire Joshua Harris. The NBA, of course, is still in the midst of a lockout, and the first two weeks of the season have been canceled.

Smith is a Philly native that attended Overbrook High School in West Philadelphia. If he can turn the team’s fortunes around, I Am Legend will be more than a Smith blockbuster; it will be the truth for long suffering Sixers fans.
